THE STORY BEHIND PACQUET INDUSTRIE IS ABOVE ALL A STORY ABOUT THE MECHANICS OF A FAMILY

The Pacquet Industrie group emerged from a business created a little over 40 years ago by Denis Pacquet. It was in 1976 that a friend asked him to quickly obtain a sealed rotary union capable of withstanding the extreme conditions of use in the steel industry. This is how the first Pacquet rotary unions were born. Denis Pacquet then rapidly developed the machining activity, which is the company's core business.

In 1995, Samuel Pacquet, his son, took over the family business and continued to develop it. In 2007, he acquired Tecmeca and created Tecmeca-Pacquet as a result of the merger. Now a designer and manufacturer of rotating unions and loading arms, Pacquet began to specialise more in the transfer of fluids. The acquisition of Tecmeca also led to the development of a new activity based on the design and manufacture of access gangways, access systems and tanker top loading systems and the safety needs of operators/drivers when working at height.

In 2014, Samuel Pacquet decided to divide up the three activities for strategic reasons:

  • Pacquet Production Mécanique: Small and medium series CNC machining
  • Pacquet Raccord Tournant: Design and manufacture of rotary unions
  • Pacquet Solutions d’Empotage: Design and manufacture of loading arms and safe access gangways for the tops of tankers
